Regular viewers of the ABC TV News at 7:00pm may have noticed something odd. Every night when Graham Creed presents the national weather forecast, he also includes Lord Howe Island. We're in good company - Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane ... and Lord Howe Island.
Again, we have Pixie to thank for this. After discovering that Graham was a former weatherman on Lord Howe in the 1980's, Pixie used her classic combination of harassment and charm to finally convince him that Lord Howe should be on the national weather map. "After all" she told Graham "you consistently report Lord Howe as the warmest location in NSW during winter, so why don't you show people where we are?".
