Accolades for Pixie Rourke

Following from Qantas naming one of its Dash-8 planes the "Pixie Rourke", Tourism New South Wales awarded Pixie a Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to Regional Tourism.
The award was presented by the NSW Minister for Tourism, Jodi McKay, and accepted by Kerry Lorimer on behalf of the Lord Howe Island Tourism Association.
Pixie was a proud grandmother. In this photo from 2009, she is introducing Elsie to the Pinetrees chefs.
